Designed by Mona Zillah exclusively for Five Sisters Farm with our own light worsted weight Shetland yarn, this hat centers on three fissiped carnivores (mammals of the suborder Fissipedia which have separate toes), and scientists who study them.
The hat is worked bottom-up, in the stranded colorwork technique, with decreases shaping the crown.
 
The kit includes the pattern and two 4-ounce skeins of our light worsted weight yarn in contrasting natural colors (choose Paisley/Primrose, Basil/Primrose, or Ginger/Iris).   This beanie is worked using the stranded colorwork technique, bottom-up, with decreases shaping the crown.
