The last couple of months have been a blur of activity here at Five Sisters Farm. Our onsite yarn shop was a busy place, packed with visitors and holiday shoppers. It's a rustic little 3-season shop at the moment, with a cute wood stove that is currently decorative. Next year perhaps we'll have some open hours in the winter, but for now we're closed "Until Spring". Orders can still be picked up at the farm, please choose that option at checkout on the website. My hand-knits are not listed on the website, nor are many of the fun goodies you can only find in person, so plan a visit for warmer months and see what we have to offer!
Behind the scenes we've moved the sheep into winter quarters, boys in the "ram barn" and girls in the big barn near the house. They've been happily munching away on Christmas trees and settling in to the final weeks of gestation. We'll be shearing in Februrary in anticipation of March/April lambing.

We are hugely grateful to the many people who have supported us this year, whether pitching in during open farm events, lending a hand in so many other ways, or shopping from near and far. The sheep absolutely adore visitors and are looking forward to the year ahead!
